Registered Nurse Post-Anesthesia (RN) Shifts Needed: Days Nights Must have 2 years of recent experience in specialty applying for. Must have an American Heart Association BLS Certification. Nurses provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia—general, regional or local. Nurses monitor vital signs and treat patients according to their needs. Typically these nurses only monitor their patients for a few hours until they have reached a stat of responsiveness, then nurses will prepare them for discharge or transfer to another department in the hospital.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of current critical care experience and uphold the mandatory BCLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certification consists of PALS.
